THE ROLE Reporting to the Team Manager, they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their tax & business services team. Your duties will comprised of: • GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a calculations • Producing tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS lodgements for your portfolio of clients • Correspondence to client queries & liaising with business stakeholders e.g. ASIC, ATO etc • Mentoring of junior accountants and reviewing their work • Participating in meetings internally and with clients THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will demonstrate the outlined skills & attributes: • 3-5 years experience within an Australian Public Practice • CA or CPA accreditation or working towards • Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting principles • Sound knowledge in Xero & MS Office Suite • Professional communication skills & phone mannerisms • Ability to work under pressure & juggle competing priorities • Ambition to reach your personal and professional best On Offer • Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience (Circa $75K - $85K) • Financial and philanthropical study support for CA or CPA studies • Regular training and development opportunities facilitated by internal and external training providers • Located in the idyllic fringes of the CBD and easy accessibility to public transport • Inclusive team, open door management and wonderful staff tenure Plus, • Some flexibility in working arrangements • Collaborative work environment & supportive managers • Work life balance APPLY NOW...!!!
