We are now looking for a hotel management couple or team to operate and manage the accommodation component of the business, in conjunction with our F&B Manager who oversees the restaurant, bar and conference facilities. The Role We are seeking a professional management couple or team to manage all facets of the rooms and accommodation operations of the business at The Elandra. The position is a live-in management role, and accommodation is provided in a fully self-contained apartment. The role will work alongside our F&B Manager who will oversee all restaurant, bar, conference and event components of the operation. The role is an autonomous position and offers a great opportunity for the right couple or team to manage, oversee and expand the business. Responsibilities & Duties • Overseeing all accommodation operations of the hotel. • Management of a small team of staff – including housekeeping, reception and grounds staff. • Front desk duties. • Inventory and rate management/optimisation. • General repairs and maintenance. • Guest relations and marketing. • Staff Rostering. • Financial reporting. The Ideal Candidates will be/have… • a motivated and enthusiastic hospitality couple. • excellent understanding of PMS systems – we operate Newbook. • a professional and courteous manner in the management of staff. • Proven experience in a similar role. • well presented with excellent communication skills. • strong financial, budgeting and reporting skills.
