Description Objective: The Senior Accountant has broad knowledge of all accounting aspects and can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant will work collaboratively with all areas of the business to advance the culture of continuous improvement through quantification of savings initiatives and sharing ideas that result in positive change. Key objectives in the role are to: • Assist with the timely and accurate close of month end. • Ensures compliance with tax and regulatory bodies. • Supports the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. • Manages the Commissions process. • Assists HR as a backup for the payroll function. • Analyzes data to discover trends and opportunities for the company. • Is a key resource during the interim and year end audit. • Other duties as assigned.
