We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for social media to join an incredible team! Your Role: As a Social Media Specialist, you will be reporting to the Social Media Manager while working closely with copywriters, influencer marketing specialists, product designers, graphic designers, videographers and sales teams to plan and execute social media strategies on multiple platforms. Your key responsibilities: • Working alongside other teams to brainstorm ideas, map out content and build 360 degree campaigns • Planning and maintaining a monthly calendar filled with eye-catching social media posts for various social media platforms for your assigned brands • Understanding the social media strategy, tone-of-voice, and brand guidelines for each of your assigned brands • Analyzing social media campaigns and optimize efforts while leveraging learnings and adapting to them • Collaborating, building relationships, and serving as a primary contact for various internal and external stakeholders • Actively monitoring social media channels, determining when and how to engage with the community and adjust accordingly when necessary • Presenting new ideas, analyses, key findings regularly with team members and provide recommendations • Identifying trends, opportunities to innovate, maintain awareness and understanding of best-in- class tactics What we’re looking for… • 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of social media and community management • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects • Strong understanding of current social media landscape including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. as well as emerging platforms • Ability to create short-form videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok. (Asset: Stepping in front of the camera and staring alongside our toys!) • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field • Ability to use basic Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) functions and/or Canva • Ability to own and understand metrics, communicate findings internally and develop strategic thinking • Autonomy and team spirit • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong sense of responsibility, courtesy, and professionalism • Ability to wear many hats, while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Knowledge of the US consumer market is a plus!
