About the role We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Kalgoorlie team. You will be performing both preventative maintenance and occasional field service support on a fleet of Kenworth and Mack Prime movers, Side tipper trailers and CAT equipment. We are a casual and friendly team with a great work culture. This role has the capacity to be residential (Kalgoorlie) or FIFO/DIDO - let us know what works for you! Residential preferred. Benefits and Perks Full time permanent opportunities $75 Per hour + Super + Daily Meal allowance (FIFO/DIDO) Desired Attributes and Experience: Cert III Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (min 3 years’ experience) Previous experience in the Road Transport industry working on a variety of equipment such as Kenworth's, Mack's and Side Tipper trailers is desirable. Experience and familiarity working in a mining environment. Experience working with a range of CAT equipment. Current Drivers License (MC would be an advantage) Current Police clearance Be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening and pre-employment medical Self-motivated individual, who takes pride in their work. Commitment to safety and positive work attitude Tasks and responsibilities Preventative Maintenance and Servicing on Road Trains, Side tipper trailers and CAT Loaders. Attending call outs.
