Role Description: Reporting to the Finance Manager, as an Assistant Accountant you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions including end-to-end Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Month End process. You will have a thorough understanding of current accounting standards and bring a dynamic, adaptable approach to your work, driving excellence and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation making sure all the accounts are accurate. Assist in preparing and maintaining fixed asset register. Assist in preparing and maintaining pre-payment register. Reconcile monthly balance of control accounts. Assist in preparing monthly P&L analysis and reporting. Reconcile monthly P&L accounts. Assist in stock management and monthly stock report preparation. Assist in bank accounts and monthly credit cards reconciliation. Process customer invoices into accounting system and send invoices to customers maintaining accuracy. Run monthly aged receivable report and follow up on outstanding balance building good customer relationship. Enter customer payments into accounting systems. Enter supplier invoices into accounting system liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure invoices are accurate, verified, processed in a timely manner. Reconcile suppliers’ statement monthly basis ensuring invoices entered are accurate and follow up on any missing invoices with suppliers. Prepare weekly suppliers’ payment run. Process customer and supplier credit applications. Perform other duties associated with finance & accounting functions as required. Receive phone calls and other general administrative duties as required. To be successful in this position you will have: 2~3 years of work experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable responsibilities and month end process. Tertiary qualification in accounting is required. Experience working with ERP system will get preference but not mandatory. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Excellent attention to details and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results to tight deadlines.
