Coogee Legion Club, is a successful and progressive registered club situated on Coogee Beach. The Club aims to consistently provide, at the highest standard, a range of recreational and social amenities that are attractive, enjoyable and relevant to our members in a safe and friendly environment, located right on the beach. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a part time basis. This position is an integral part of the Club operating successfully and you will be familiar with all areas of bookkeeping, payroll and financial administration. You will have at least 12 months experience in this role or similar and have relevant qualifications or experience. You will have experience using MYOB and advanced skills using Microsoft Excel to create and maintain accurate financial reports. Your role includes: Oversight of balance sheet, bank account and credit card reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable. Maintenance of workbooks in line with the auditor’s requirements. Identification and resolution of financial inaccuracies within the business’ accounts. Analysis for operational areas of the business, including, but not limited to gaming, entertainment and beverage. Assist the CEO in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end Financial accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Accounts adjustments and annual reports each year. Work with the CEO and Auditor on the Club’s quarterly audits. Oversight of the Club’s cashflow. Successful Candidates will be contacted for an interview via email.
