Reporting to the Accounting Manager, based in our Alexandria, Sydney, NSW branch, the Assistant Accountant will be involved with the Administration and Finance functions servicing three branches in Sydney. There will be opportunities to apply skills you have learned at university and your career to date, with analysis, problem solving and process improvement. The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include: Assisting the manager and team with daily and month-end processing and reporting including Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Review and assists in maintaining Fixed Asset register, WIP to Capitalization files and Capex management. Accounts payable and Accounts receivable tasks. Ability to assist and contribute in Annual Budgets and Audits. Review and contribute in Monthly and Annual FBT reporting. Accounting and reporting system and process improvements.
