About Us Pheonix Builders is a well established building company that is a builder /developer based in Alexandria. Its is a family owned business where the CEO has an active role in all aspects who is looking for a mature person who would like to work in a small office of 5 staff. Working week would be 3 days per week. About the Role Processing of Invoices: Using EzzyBills to process all invoices received in the inbox to XERO. This includes accurate data entry and verification of invoice details. Account Payables List: Preparation of a detailed account payables list to ensure timely payments and cash flow management. Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation: Comprehensive reconciliation of all bank and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Month-End Statement Reconciliation: Detailed reconciliation of all month-end statements to maintain accurate financial records. Attendance Checks and Text Reminders: Monitoring staff attendance and sending text reminders to ensure compliance and manage payroll effectively. Month-End BAS Preparation: preparation after the due reconciliation of the monthly BAS, ensuring compliance with ATO requirements. Payroll Processing: Fortnightly payroll processing for staff, including calculations of wages, deductions, and superannuation contributions. Weekly Delivery Docket Checks: Verify all delivery dockets to ensure billing accuracy and dispute resolution. Payment Schedules for Consultants: Creation and management of payment schedules for consultants, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Payment Schedule Verification: Checking all payment schedules approved before payment to ensure compliance with company policies and financial accuracy Working from head office at Alexandria (Next to Green Square Station) General office administration Experience with Xero Liaising with Construction Manager, Tradespeople, Suppliers Assisting with getting quotes and organizing property Maintanence works Strong Knowledge of Excel Previous background in a similar position with experience in Accounts Any ad-hoc tasks as required within the team Perks Benefits flexible working hours 3 days per week competitive salary No weekend work small office Would suit someone looking to get back into work force Ideal for mature person do not apply if you are seeking WFH arrangement , strictly office based job Employer questions Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
