St Andrews Beach Brewery is situated on a 92-acre property formally known as ‘Markdel’. Our story dates back to the early 2000’s, when the Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. In 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and their story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery. From designing tasty menus to trying out the latest tech, we have tactics that help to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The Position: Assist Chefs and Cooks with food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and sanitising surfaces. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times. Support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food service during busy event periods. The Person: Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Knife skills and able to assist with high-volume food preparation. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, throughout the duration of the event.
