About the role: The General Manager Manufacturing & Sourcing is the senior leader responsible for the strategy, operations, and people leadership of the manufacturing and supply chain business unit. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Viscount Reuse, you will lead both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives to build an effective manufacturing and sourcing team, including manufacturing, commercial supply chain, sourcing, planning, and direct sales across ANZ. Regular recognition programs and awards for outstanding performance. Main Responsibilities and Deliverables: Be a core part of the leadership team with strong collaboration skills. Implement the strategic plan for the business unit and own the P&L to deliver budget goals. Oversee all aspects of ongoing operations including safety and ESG, financial performance, and stakeholder engagement. Drive sales and operations planning processes to ensure business continuity. Build and maintain strong personal relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance in service delivery, retaining and growing major customers. Promote a culture of zero harm, focusing on continually improving safety and ESG standards. Create a high-performing and inclusive culture, ensuring best practices both commercially and operationally. Manage the development of new business opportunities in both existing and targeted organizations. Oversee new product development including licensing, design, tooling, and project management. Oversee the management of capital expenditure programs, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Education and Experience: Background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business. MBA highly regarded. Significant experience in an executive position with profit and loss business responsibility. Experienced commercial negotiator in a competitive environment. Superior communication skills, personable across all levels (from shop floor to boardroom). Demonstrated ability in building a supply chain. Proven people leadership with a collaborative and enabling approach in a high-growth business. Injection moulding knowledge preferred.
