Visit our website for more information on our various businesses and brands www.charlesparsons.com About the Role We are currently seeking a proactive and solutions-focused individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Officer based in Redfern. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and working closely with the Finance team, you will help to ensure the processing of supplier invoices and other forms of expense payments, are completed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with the Supervisor, you will help to ensure all accounts payable procedures are implemented and maintained accurately by working with key stakeholder within the Charles Parsons Group. A typical day will include: Prepare and process accounts payable tasks, including processing of authorised invoices and analysis of variances & discrepancies. Effective administration of payment processing within agreed trading terms and ensuring payments align with cash flow forecast. Reconciliation of supplier accounts. Documentation of processes and systems. Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting. Continuous improvement to the quality and commercial nature of information, speed and effectiveness in delivery to support the business objectives. Effective planning and completion of allocated projects and tasks; and General administrative and customer service activities. To be considered for the role, you must have: Minimum 3 years commercial experience in accounts payable function. Exposure to management reporting, budgeting and stock costing. Experience with integrated ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g. Movex and AP21). The ability to effectively work and communicate with external and internal stakeholders. Strong time management skills in a fast moving environment. Analytical with high attention to detail. Strong Microsoft Office Skills – Excel, Word, Outlook. Pro-active in continuous improvement; and Industry experience preferred but not essential.
