BPA Analytics (BPA) are established social researchers that specialise in measuring and analysing Organisational Culture. Based in Brisbane, BPA has an extensive client-base in the Health and Community Services Sector throughout Australia and New Zealand, with an emerging presence in the UK. BPA's office is located in the Brisbane CBD and is close to many public transport options. About the position This role is primarily focused on front end development of web applications and the management of time sensitive tasks. Initial responsibilities will include: Front end development of electronic surveys using React and TypeScript. Integration with third party back end software. Task automation with Python and other scripting languages. As you grow into the role, your responsibilities will expand to include work on new and existing development projects, with an opportunity to bring innovative solutions to the table. About you The ideal candidate will be either a student seeking part-time work or a recent graduate looking for full-time employment. Key qualifications and attributes include: Qualifications relevant to IT or industry experience of Software Development; Experience with TypeScript, CSS, HTML and Python; Experience with React or similar frameworks; Flexibility and willingness to provide support where needed; Exceptional attention to detail; and An outcome-based ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work independently. The following skills are not required but would be favourable: Exposure to other programming languages, such as C#; Familiarity with Software Development tools such as Git, AWS and Jira. This position is available now for an enthusiastic applicant who is ready to hit the ground running. The starting salary for this position is $65,000 per annum plus superannuation. After your 3-month review, the pay will be adjusted based on the skill-sets you have demonstrated.
