Overview We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Accountant to work at our Head Office location in West Perth. You will complete accounts payable and accounts receivable duties for our business entities in Australia, the United Kingdom, and North America. This role reports to the Finance Manager. Requirements To be seriously considered for this role, we’re looking for Experience: At least three years in a similar role with comparable responsibilities and ideally supported with a relevant qualification. Any international experience with a business based in the United Kingdom, Europe, or the United States, or experience in using Pronto or NetSuite would be an added bonus. Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and background in accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations. Great attention to detail and ability to effectively manage your time and work to month-end deadlines. Characteristics: As this position is within a recently restructured finance team you will need to be flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different countries and entities. You will need to use your initiative and be proactive using your strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Have a passion for the equestrian industry, or at the very least, a genuine love for animals! Your responsibilities will include: Handling of accounts receivable, including receipting and debtor follow-ups. Accounts payable, invoice entry for multiple entities. Ensure invoices and payment runs are processed accurately and in a timely manner for closing month end. Assisting with the preparation of month-end reconciliations and related tasks. Ad hoc projects, support, analysis, reporting, and general office duties. The salary offered will be dependent on experience.
