Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our organisation. Based out of our centrally located Newcastle office, you will work closely with a highly experienced Senior Engineer providing engineering advice to our clients. In this broad-based role, you will be exposed to multiple types of rolling stock, including locomotives, track machines and freight wagons. You will have the opportunity to develop solutions using your mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work closely with clients and roll your sleeves up on client sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate Mechanical Engineer to work closely with an engineering leader and develop a specialty in the rail sector. You will be keen to learn with a willingness to take on new challenges and give things a go. Whilst you will be mentored closely by the Senior Engineer, as you develop your skills, you will be increasingly comfortable in working autonomously and effectively managing your time.
