As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the overall well-being of our Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic patients. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services. Job Summary: • Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time Nurse position (RPN or RN) • Excellent working atmosphere • No overnight shift • Opportunity to work with an Excellent Physicians' Team • Training/familiarization, before starting the job. • Opportunity to work in the restructured modern Walk-In Clinic/ Urgent Care (Medcentre Urgent Care) Expected Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care • Assisting physicians in regular/urgent patient care • Competence in recording vital signs & history taking • Able to do wound dressing • Competence with injections (IM & SQ) • Routine patient care and documenting • Assisting physicians in procedures when required • Phlebotomy skill (or willing to learn) • Maintaining a medical inventory/emergency inventories • Administrative tasks (filing, sorting, labeling, faxing, copying, etc.) • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols • Adhere to all Clinic policies, procedures, and regulations Certification/Membership Required: • Certified with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as RPN or RN • Membership with the Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RPNAO or RNAO) Soft Skills Required: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Punctuality and attentiveness • Ability to multitask in an organized and structured manner • Ability to work as a member of a multicultural professional team • Excellence in customer service and exceptional interpersonal skills • Ability to maintain client and clinic confidentiality • Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations in a calm manner • Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization skills We offer: • Excellent work environment • Flexible schedule • On-site parking • Extended health care • No overnight shift • Free car park • We provide the essential training (including EMR) • Opportunities for career advancement • Company events Salary: Salary: $23 - $26 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: • 2901 Markham Road, Unit-7, Scarborough, ON: Reliably commute or plan to relocate.
