Job Description: As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within a recruitment agency and possess strong analytical and leadership skills. You will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure financial stability and support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, monitoring performance against these plans and providing variance analysis. Revenue and Cost Management: Oversee billing, revenue recognition, and cost control processes, particularly in relation to contract and temporary staffing placements. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, including tax and audit requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management and department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making. System Management: Utilize financial systems and software to streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and support reporting needs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) are highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a recruitment agency setting. Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Attributes: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
