This organization empowers individuals with disabilities by enabling them to directly employ their chosen Support Workers. Benefits $65 - $75K + Super Amazing office located in South Melbourne Free Gym on-site Complimentary breakfast on Tuesdays Lunch & Learn sessions Weekly social events About the Role As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families by ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting clients and the Plan Management team by processing provider invoices accurately and promptly in accordance with NDIS rules and regulations. Key Responsibilities Process a a high volumes of invoices per day with a high degree of accuracy. Review and submit compliants to the NDIS for payment. Identify and solve price cap, service booking, and approved provider validations. Manage refunds efficiently. Allocate successful provider payments as paid by NDIS. Communicate with stakeholders regarding rejected provider payments. Gather relevant information required for a successful sign-up. Create Service Bookings in the NDIS portal. Interact with PACE and manage PACE invoices. Print and post out monthly statements. Successfully sign-up partners when necessary. Follow up and communicate with stakeholders weekly about funds running low. Develop and maintain relationships with Partners and their providers/suppliers. Collaborate internally to improve best practices and outcomes within the Plan Management team. Requirements Experience and knowledge of the lived experience of people with disabilities and the NDIS. Strong attention to detail and experience in administrative roles. Ability to understand the NDIS price guide and provide timely advice. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical skills and experience with data entry.
