An exciting new leadership opportunity has been created for a high calibre commercial finance executive who can business partner the Owner / Managing Director and leadership team. We have been mandated to identify, evaluate and acquire an individual who help turbo charge expansion to $150m T/O pa. You will help drive business improvements, implement a new ERP and increase both product & customer profitability whilst also ensuring that new market expansions are commercially valuable. Your primary role will be to provide financial and commercial counsel to the Managing Director and to the wider business: Sales, Marketing and Operations / Supply Chain. You will partner and shape the development and execution of strategic business plans and help develop initiatives that will unlock commercial efficiencies and opportunities. You will lead Finance, IT and Legal maters to ensure best practice is delivered, ensuring you determine and manage risks & value drivers whilst also ensuring customers are always central in any decision making. The ability to partner and provide sound commercial recommendations is critical. CA/CPA qualified, previous commercial finance experience gained within a physical products business, via trade / wholesale or retail is essential. You will have noted presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills ideally within both a global multinational and Privately owned business would be advantageous. The scope for the right leader to move towards a Chief Operating Officer position along with the potential of wealth creation opportunity with a capital / liquidity event in the medium - longer term.
