We operate out of two locations of Murarrie (QLD) and Goulburn (NSW). We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer or experienced Draftsperson to join the team located at our Murarrie facility. We want a candidate who is looking to develop their engineering abilities from initial design stage right through to delivery. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: 3D Modelling in Autodesk Inventor of Truck / Trailers combinations in-line with the Australian Design Regulations (ADR), Performance Based Standards (PBS) and Relevant Australian Standards, Producing detailed workshop drawings, Generating sales layouts and new design concepts, Improving tare weights and strength by better design and use of high tensile steel, Working with entire team delivering custom built solutions for our customers. To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: Minimum of 3 years truck or trailer design experience, A history of delivering major engineering projects, Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritise as per schedule, Working knowledge of PBS, Good understanding of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics, Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment with excellent communication skills.
