Role Title: Part-time Finance Assistant Team: Finance Team Location: Based in Woolloongabba. Level: Level 3 Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award. $71,131 -$76,271, pro-rata, (depending on experience), plus leave loading and an option to salary sacrifice. ROLE PURPOSE The primary purpose of this role is to assist with financial transactions and record-keeping. This position is a part of finance portfolio including but not limited to payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. CHARACTER We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in utilising and developing their skills in different finance areas. You would have strong aptitude for numerical information, attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment. You will be able to work alongside team members and engage in collaborative practice with colleagues. You will work towards achieving the common goals for the team whilst being accountable for your individual role in achieving these goals. Assist in processing invoices and payments on time and with accuracy 2. Process and reconcile credit cards and reimbursements 3. Support internal reporting and month end tasks 4. Assist stakeholders from across the organisation with ad hoc queries 5. Assist finance team with ongoing improvements to processes and procedures 6. Other ad hoc tasks and finance support as required. CRITERIA The suitable candidate should possess the following skills: 1. Accurate data entry skills 2. High attention to detail 3. Self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude 4. Effective time management skills 5. Discretion and confidentiality 6. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment 7. Good communication skills both written and verbal, with ability to work cross-culturally and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders 8. Intermediate level of knowledge and experience in using Microsoft programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Forms 9. Relevant accounting knowledge and qualification, experience in similar roles are highly desirable 10. Experience working with MYOB would be advantageous 11.
