About the Role You will be responsible for the team’s performance, driving the strategy including client relationships, project delivery, financial management, people and skills development and technical standards. Working with the Executive, Chief Performance Officer and the Regional Director to personalise the role to consider your areas of interest and determine the primary areas of focus. As an experienced engineer, you will be required to act as a Project Director on specific projects as required and technically and professionally mentor your team. About You The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in the following areas: Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and engineering and documentation-based software. A sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety and legal regulations. Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and Australian Standards. Strong commercial acumen/ ability to effectively manage the financial performance of projects. Effective people management skills along with proven leadership acumen. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to develop and nurture client relationships. Design consultancy based experience with demonstrated ability to provide innovative solutions. Experience in developing networks and establishing strong client relationships with the ability to develop.
