As EdConnect's Education Liaison Officer working in Port Hedland, the relationships you will establish between volunteers, local schools and businesses will deliver powerful outcomes for students at both the secondary and primary schools. This job is about establishing and managing relationships in the Port Hedland community. You will manage existing and recruit new volunteers to support the program. You will manage existing and recruit new schools to the program. You will engage with local community and business organisations to get them behind a program that has, over the last 25 years, made a tangible difference to the learning and development pathways of students and provided volunteers with a deeply rewarding and satisfying role in the community. T The Pilbara Mentors - EdConnect program is fully supported in Port Hedland by the Hanrine Foundation. Reporting to your Area Manager, based in our Perth head office, this part time, contract role will provide you with the flexibility to do other things, while making a significant contribution to your community. Working from your home office, EdConnect will provide you with the guidance and support to achieve great things.
