About the role & what we look for We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team within our Factory Automation division. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager in Australia, you will be an important part of an intimate yet professional team. You will provide first-level technical support for all the company’s industrial automation products and technologies, with an emphasis on emerging technologies as part of Industry 4.0 and IIOT. Experience with digital transformation and mechatronic / AGV/ intralogistics automation will be an advantage along with demonstrable knowledge with industrial fieldbus and other communication protocols such as Industrial Ethernet, OPC UA, IO-Link and serial communication. Good competency with the MS Office Suite of programs and knowledgeable with C/C++ programmable language will also be an advantage. You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent technical, communication and engagement skills. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar environment providing first-level technical, a technical industrial automation background with excellent knowledge of electrical principles and smart sensors. A good understanding of PLC’s and control systems and how they interface with field devices is key. You must have a degree in engineering/Mechatronic/Electronic/Computer Systems.
