Innovation and design is a core component of our brand, and we strive to continually exceed customer needs in design, whilst leading the ice bath category in changing how customers pursue their health journey. We are currently recruiting for an engineer to work in our R&D team to partner with our founder to help dream what our forward innovation looks like and how we make it happen. We have at our disposal a woodworking and metal working equipment areas with staff and access to a laser cutter, laser welder, CNC routing machine and other tools to allow for rapid prototyping. The Role: Rapid Prototyping - we don't like red tape, we move at speed Key technical competencies Design custom fittings and component to optimise product performance Design of electronic components such as valves, sensors, wifi ect. New technology innovation Refrigeration Systems Water filtration CAD Design Translating design to manufacturing processes Having a key input into capital investment to bring design innovation and efficiency to life Component sourcing based on cost and quality You: Creative mindset who has imagination and high level of curiosity Practical and detailed orientation is a must. Need demonstrated ability to turn conceptual ideas into practical design application We want problem solvers - not problem pointers Act with urgency Need to be available onsite 2 days a week on the Gold Coast, flexible outside of that This role is about continually optimisation of our existing range and designing our future wellness innovation funnel.
