We are looking for a Business Development Manager. You will drive new business in the printing and packaging industry, with a special focus on eco-friendly packaging. Our client is a leading printing and packaging company with a strong commitment to eco-friendly packaging solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join their team and help them expand their client base in the packaging and food industries. You will: Build and expand a client base from scratch, targeting the packaging and food industries. Compile and manage lists of prospective client businesses. Visit regular and prospective clients to establish and capitalise on selling opportunities. Service the current client base as required by management. Liaise with customers to understand their needs, recommending and explaining our goods and services. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues. Develop and provide strategies to management on approaches, execution, and industry focus. Maintain and update a list of potential clients weekly using sales reports. Seek new business opportunities through trade shows, exhibitions, and networking groups. Monitor tender processes in both public and private sectors. Keep track of competitor activity. Collaborate closely with internal team members. Provide weekly call cycle summaries to management. Attend regular sales meetings and performance reviews. We are looking for: Experience in the packaging or food industry, a plus Proven track record in building and managing a client base. Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
