The Coffs Harbour Bypass is a 14-kilometre stretch of road that will bypass of the Coffs Harbour urban area, from Englands Road in the South to Sapphire in the North and is a once-in-a-generation project for the Mid-North Coast community. Ferrovial and Gamuda (FGJV) are the proud design and construct joint venture delivery partners of the Coffs Harbour Bypass – a significant, unique and exceptional major infrastructure project that will leave a legacy of innovation and sustainability in the region for communities of today and tomorrow. In order to successfully complete the construction works of the three tunnels, we are looking for a team player to assist the team with: Responsibilities: Proactively maintain an understanding of project management plans and associated variations to the scope of works. Daily tracking of construction progress and costs to allow identification of corrective measures when required. Prepare Safe Work Methods Statements, Site Access Plans, Work procedures, and any other documentation as required. Manage and ensure daily work activities are undertaking in accordance with all permits, approvals, design drawings specifications and work management plans. Monitor Non-conformance reporting process for trends and be involved in investigation of significant NCR. Active management of compliance with Project HSE and Quality requirements. Ensure project programming is undertaken with disciplined governance and cadence. Work closely with site supervisors and subcontractors assisting them with daily work activities. Prepare and host daily & weekly planning meetings within the construction team. Model high safety standards on site and speak up when something is not right. Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. At least 2 years’ experience in an engineering role in the construction or major infrastructure industry on a tunnel project. Previous tunnelling experience working within a project-oriented team would be preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client-focus and ability to work proactively with all types of stakeholders. Have a keen attitude to continually learn & grow within the construction industry. Sound knowledge of TfNSW specifications is desirable.
