Catering HQ is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with proven experience in events to join our talented and dedicated team. THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 7 fabulous venues across Sydney and Central Coast. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations whilst developing and maintaining these client relationships and to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and customer expectations are exceeded. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities • Acquiring and following up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals • Training & development of venue event coordinators • Updating venue event packages as required • Generating new business opportunities • Attending appropriate industry/networking events SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role which includes event sales • Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program) • Proven ability to drive sales • Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality. • Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills. • Exceptional attention to detail • Passionate approach to sales • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines • Positive and flexible attitude • Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision If you feel you possess these qualities and are interested in becoming part of the team, please APPLY NOW.
