Task and responsibilities: Key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to Computer Aided Design (CAD) completing 3D sight scanning, 3D modelling, digital prototyping and drafting. Engineering calculations are an integral part of the development process of products, machines and structures. You will be completing code-based analysis and review, engineering calculations and finite element analysis. Communication and documentation skills are a core responsibility within the company, you will be required to complete reports, liaise with clients and basis administrative tasks associated with project engineering. Qualifications and experience: 2+ years of experience. Engineers Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering from an Australian University. Competency in 3D CAD, FEA and performing engineering calculations. Membership with MIEAust is recommended. Committed to achieving RPEQ status. Strong written and spoken communication skills. Job Summary: You will be working within a multidisciplinary engineering company to a range of industries specializing in a range of areas but not limited to industrial plant and equipment, material handling, process equipment, vehicle modification and transportation systems. To be successfully complete this role you will need to be proficient in CAD, engineering calculations, communication and documentation skills. Initially, your place of work will be at one of our offices, however once the training and induction period has been completed, working from home arrangements can be negotiated.
