As one of our Drivers in our friendly Rockhampton StarTrack Team, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that! This role is open to a C Class or Light Rigid licence holder and is a full time permanent role working Mon-Fri paying $31.26/hr with overtime rates and 12% super. You’ll be Handling freight up to 30kg Scannign and safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility Completing your own daily vehicle safety check Driving our vans/trucks between our Rockhampton facility and our residential, industrial and commercial customers, for deliveries and pick-ups Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups About you You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community. You’ll also need to Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Hold a relevant C class or Light Rigid (or higher) vehicle license Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck (up to 30kg) Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less Be prepared to provide a driving history report and undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening, national police checks and a driving assessment.
